자신의 꿈과 행복을 뒤로 미룬 채 살아내는 우리의 삶을 변화 시키고자 하는 작가의 희망이 담긴 작품 스타일이다.
대학 시절 힙합 동아리에서 자유롭게 자신의 개성을 표현했던 많은 선후배와 동료들이 시간이 너무 행복했다. 시간이 지난 지금 그때의 자신들이 좋아하던 그리고 가장 잘하던 음악과 춤 그리고 그림을 뒤로 하고 삶을 살아내기 위해 전혀 다른 삶을 살아가는 모습을 보았다. 그 모습을 보며 앞으로 우리의 아이들이 살아갈 세상은 조금은 더 자신이 좋아하는 것을 하며 살아가는 세상이 되길 바라며 "LOVE CAMO LIFE" 시리즈를 만들게 되었다.
카모플라주(Camouflage)는 원 의미인 서로 비슷한 색깔이 모여서 누구 하나 각자의
색깔을 드러내기보단 주변 환경에 어우러져 위장된 모습이다.
이러한 카모플라주는 회색 도시에 회색빛 색깔 속에 매일 반복되는 일상을 살아내는 우리들의 모습처럼 보였다.
각자의 개성은 숨긴 채 살아가는 우리의 모습을 보며 다양한 컬러처럼 각자의 색깔을 발산하며 살아내는 삶아가는 삶이야 말로 진정 멋진 카모플라주를 만들지 않을까?
